Creamy Mocha Pudding Pops
This is an extremely easy frozen dessert and is a good use for those Tupperware Popsicle molds that have been in the cabinet for years. The ingredients you will need are:
- 1 sm. pkg. instant chocolate Jello pudding mix
- 2 c. cold milk
- Sm. tub Cool Whip
- 2 tsp instant espresso coffee
- 2T finely chopped Hersheys Milk Chocolate
- Popsicle molds
Combine pudding mix and milk. Beat until smooth. Add coffee, chocolate and about 1 cup of Cool Whip and blend well. (The Cool Whip prevents iciness!!) Pour into molds and freeze. This one is a favorite of mine and the kids like it too.
Easy Strawberry Banana Pops
I like this one even if it can get a little messy. To make it simply take 2-3 very ripe bananas and 1 pint of fresh strawberries, washed and topped, and blend in the food processor. Pour the mixture into Popsicle molds and freeze. Now you have a delicious treat for everyone that’s healthy and low sugar as well.
Popsicle was invented by an 11 year old boy
In the winter of 1905 a young boy accidentally invented one of America’s favorite cold snacks, the popsicle. 11 year old lemonade stand operator Frank Epperson forgot a cup of water with powdered soda and a stirring stick on his porch. Frost came and in the morning Frank discovered his new invention.
His friends all loved Franks Epsicle and in 1923, while working a lemonade stand at the local amusement park, Frank got an idea. He changed the name to Popsicle, got it patented and by 1928 had earned royalties on over 60 million Popsicles.
